Why LaunchPad Exists
Over the years I’ve spoken to lots of businesses who knew they needed a better website but couldn’t justify paying a large design fee all at once. LaunchPad was created to solve that problem.
Instead of charging a large upfront cost, I invest that time into building your website, and we build a long-term working relationship instead.
It’s better for many businesses, and it allows me to do what I enjoy most ~ building websites and supporting my clients for years to come.

Why Breakdance?
Every LaunchPad website is built using Breakdance, a professional website builder that allows me to create fast, flexible websites that are easy to maintain and update.
The £3/month license keeps your website software up to date and supported by the developers.
What's Not Included
Some projects aren’t suitable for LaunchPad. LaunchPad is designed for brochure-style business websites. Projects such as:
- Large Online Shops
- Membership Websites
- Complex Booking Systems
- Bespoke Software
- Large Databases
- Specialist Integrations
…may require a separate quotation.

Yes. Once your minimum 12-month LaunchPad commitment has been completed, the website belongs to you.
Absolutely. I’d obviously love you to stay, but you’re free to move your website elsewhere if you choose.

The Small Print (Keeping Things Fair)
LaunchPad is built around a long-term partnership, so there are a few simple terms that help protect both you and Hightime Designs.
Minimum Commitment
LaunchPad requires a minimum 12-month subscription to one of my Website Care plans. This allows me to invest the time needed to design and build your website without charging a large upfront design fee.
Your Website
Before any work begins, you’ll receive a quotation showing the normal cost of your website if purchased as a standalone project.
With LaunchPad, I waive this upfront design fee in exchange for your commitment to a minimum 12-month Hosting Care plan.
The monthly Website Care payments cover hosting, backups, updates, maintenance and ongoing support. They are not payments towards the website design or build.
If You Leave Early
If you cancel your Website Care plan, stop your monthly payments, or move your website to another provider before completing the initial 12-month commitment, the full agreed website design fee shown on your original quotation will become immediately payable.
Once this amount has been paid, you’re free to move your website to another hosting provider if you wish.
Ongoing Costs
LaunchPad requires an active Website Care plan throughout the initial 12-month period.
Some websites may also require:
- Breakdance Website Builder Licence (£3 per month)
- Professional email hosting (optional)
- Domain name registration or renewal
- Premium third-party plugins or services (where agreed)
Any additional costs will always be discussed with you before they’re incurred.
Payments
Monthly payments should be kept up to date. If payments fall into arrears, website services may be suspended until the account has been brought back up to date.
Is Every Project Suitable?
LaunchPad is designed for standard brochure-style business websites.
More complex projects - such as large eCommerce websites, bespoke functionality, membership systems or specialist integrations - may require a separate quotation and may not be suitable for LaunchPad.
A Final Note
LaunchPad isn’t about locking anyone into a contract. It’s simply a different way of investing in your website—allowing you to avoid a large upfront design fee while giving me the confidence to invest my time in building something we’ll both be proud of.
